Rudeness on Purpose?

Today I went with my family down to Chicago to see a German Christmas festival and to see the Nutcracker ballet. We normally go every year and now it seems to be a tradition. However we always know that at each of the ballet's performance there will be rude people there.

Laughter and full conversations during the performance occurs all the time. People pay good money to go to a show like this so it's not like it's cheap. Is it hard for some people to become aware that they are being overall rude?

It could just be the culture of Chicago but it may happen to every place on Earth. Some people do it on purpose to piss people off for attention. But most of the time I believe that they do it because they do not think it is causing harm to others.

What do you guys think? Are most people rude overall or are they just pure evil?

Thanks and Happy Holidays!

No one is Perfect... Why bother?

Thinking about it the other day, humans really are not perfect by any means. They pollute the world and yet have a strong intelligent influence over all of life. We try and try again and learn from our failures. We will never be perfect because that is human nature. Why bother?
I believe that people who strive for perfection are people of great value because they are literally trying their very best. Yes they will fail along the way, but isn't that what everyone experiences? To some they decide after failing so many times, they just quit.
That then leads to the idea that maybe we shouldn't try. Maybe we should just give up on a wasted effort. We already figured out that it's impossible to be perfect, but seriously why even attempt. This idea is different in each person but values is something you can't change.
Maybe we are destined to fail at everything in life. Maybe this is all just fun games for a higher authority. What ever the case may be, to some being perfect is everything. Letting go of that feeling and maybe saying I'll let this one go here and now again makes us less stressed and focusing on goals that are possible.
What do you guys think? Are we perfect beings? Or set to fail at everything. Should we bother trying to put effort in anything?

Entertainment a necessary?

Procrastination at it's finest. Sunday night trying to finish a blog right before 11:59 my night consumed by entertainment has slowed me down. The question do we news entertainment to keep us alive? If anything it is counterproductive to any sorts of work you can do.

The great thing about not enjoying entertainment is you can work longer so you make more money than your friends. You can also spend your time wisely on college classes. Overall a great choice why would you say no?

However the bad part about having no entertainment like television or music is that life would get boring. It's an obvious but like isn't all about work, there is certainly a time and place for that. It can also make you unhappy which can make you die sooner. Major unhappy face.

So what do you think? Is there a time and place for work and play? Or is entertainment everything.

Thanks!

Do blind dates really work?

My friend is going on a blind date recommended by a friend. However I do not consider it a blind date anymore because he did a Facebook search on her. I don't think that was the point of the fun of meeting someone you have no clue.
Regardless he is still going and he is excited about it. I think blind dates were a lot more popular back before Facebook because it could happen easily. Facebook not only tears apart marriages but it also stops you from a common blind date.
How many blind dates have you all been on? I'm dying alone so I don't plan on being on one but they are enjoyable to hear what happened. Do you think they make lasting relationships?
